Terms & Conditions
Last updated: April 2026
By registering for, submitting a paper to, or otherwise participating in any CELT Conferences event, you (“the Participant”) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Registration & Payment
All registrations are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Registration fees are payable in EUR or the equivalent in the published local currency. CELT Conferences reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration at its sole discretion.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@celtconferences.com. Refunds are subject to the following schedule:
- More than 60 days before the conference: 70% refund
- 30–60 days before the conference: 40% refund
- Less than 30 days before the conference: no refund
No refunds will be issued for no-shows. Substitutions of attendees are permitted at no extra cost up to 7 days before the event.
3. Paper Submission & Peer Review
All submitted papers undergo a double-blind peer review process. By submitting, the author warrants that the paper is original work, has not been published elsewhere, and is not currently under review by any other venue. CELT Conferences reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet scope, quality, or ethical standards.
4. Intellectual Property
Authors retain copyright of their submitted work. By accepting publication in the official Conference Proceedings (with ISBN) or partner indexed/Scopus journals, authors grant CELT Conferences a non-exclusive licence to publish, archive, distribute and index the work.
5. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward fellow delegates, speakers, organisers and venue staff. CELT Conferences operates a zero-tolerance policy on harassment, discrimination, and disruptive conduct. Violations may result in expulsion from the event without refund.
6. Visa & Travel
CELT Conferences provides invitation letters to assist with visa applications upon request and only after full payment. The Participant is solely responsible for obtaining the necessary visa, travel insurance and any other travel documents. CELT Conferences accepts no liability for visa refusals.
7. Force Majeure
CELT Conferences shall not be liable for failure to perform any obligation under these terms if such failure results from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, government action, or transportation disruption. In such cases the conference may be postponed, relocated, or moved online; registrations will be transferred to the new arrangement.
8. Photography, Recording & Publicity
Sessions, presentations and venue areas may be photographed and recorded. By attending, the Participant grants CELT Conferences the right to use such material for promotional, educational and archival purposes.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CELT Conferences’ total liability for any claim arising from registration or participation shall not exceed the registration fee paid. CELT Conferences accepts no liability for personal injury, loss of property, or indirect or consequential losses.
10. Privacy
Personal data submitted during registration is processed in accordance with applicable data-protection laws and used solely for conference administration, communications, and publication. Data is not sold to third parties.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the host jurisdiction of the relevant conference. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
12. Amendments
CELT Conferences reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The current version is the one published on this page at the time of registration.
